How to place a rook or a king
to escape from a knight:
You place it in a diagonal
with one empty square between the knight and the rook or king.
How to place a bishop,
if you will dominate and
take squares from a knight.
Two empty squares between
the knight and the bishop
in a row or a line.
Sometimes it's good to
place a king like the bishop.
You should always have control
what the enemy knight(s) can do
within two next moves!
Be aware of tactical sacrifices as well!
